New shooters are classified using the average score
from their first two official matches (denoted by the classes Q1 and Q2). Shooters are re-classified at
the end of the season based on season average. Promotion is
mandatory. Demotion is mandatory after 2 seasons of not meeting
one's current
classification. Absent shooters returning after a leave of
more than 2 seasons are treated as new shooters and must be classified.
Shooters compete within their
classification. Eight (8) points are awarded per match. One
(1) point is awarded to the club with the highest score from each of the 6
classifications. If no shooters are competing in a class, then
that point is not award. Two (2) points are awarded to the club
fielding the highest 5 shooters (including Q2 shooters, but not including
Q1 shooters).
